No. It checks whatever your theme, menus, plugins and page builder actually output – it never manages or changes your content. It runs alongside your existing setup and tells you the truth about what ships.
No. The plugin is read-only. It renders your pages and checks the links and images they output, but never edits posts, media or settings. The only things it stores are its own scan results and your settings.
It never spiders your site by following links – it only checks links and images already on your pages. To check an external link it does request that URL to read its response status, for example 200 or 404; nothing else about your site is sent, and internal links are checked against your own server.
No. Scanning is fully local, so you can install, activate and scan straight away. A Freemius account is only involved when you buy a paid licence.
